Volvo F4

The F4 truck was launched in 1975 but had an Perkins engine to 1978 when the new TD40 engine was fitted.  At the time the TD40 was considered to be a modern engine. It had both prechambers and a turbo. The F4 with the TD40 can easely be recognized by the diagonal line in the grill.The F4 remained in production until the launch of the FL4 in 1986.
